You may have noticed a new name appearing among our candle collection. Aery Living has become Osmology by Aery, a name inspired by the science and sensory experience of scent.
Nothing else has changed. The blends, values, craft and care remain the same. This is simply a name that better reflects who they have always been: creators of considered fragrance designed to shift the air around you and enhance the way you live.
The candles you know and love remain the same, made with the same carefully chosen ingredients, thoughtful fragrances and commitment to wellbeing and sustainability.
A new name, with a familiar heart
The name Osmology is rooted in the science and study of smell. It captures the care and intention that goes into every fragrance, with each blend designed to influence how a space feels and support a greater sense of calm and wellbeing.

Osmology by Aery began in 2019 with a love of wellbeing and the planet, and a desire to create fragranced products that felt genuinely immersive and purposeful.
Scent has an extraordinary ability to shape the atmosphere around us. It can soften a busy room, lift a mood, bring back a memory or create a quiet moment of stillness. Osmology’s collections are developed with this connection in mind, using fragrance to bring comfort, balance and a sense of ease into everyday life.
In 2022, the company opened its own factory in the heart of Bristol, bringing production in-house and allowing its team of candle experts greater control over quality, craftsmanship and sustainability.
Candles made more consciously
The values behind Osmology by Aery are an important part of why we are proud to stock the collection at Birch & Form.
Every candle is made using 100% plant-based wax, which is renewable and biodegradable. The wax is free from paraffin, palm oil and genetically modified ingredients, while lead-free cotton wicks provide a cleaner, longer-lasting burn.
The entire range is vegan and cruelty-free, including the materials used during production. Candle and diffuser packaging is also completely plastic-free and recyclable, helping to reduce unnecessary waste without compromising on beautiful presentation.
Osmology also works with Ecologi to support tree planting. Through its online orders, the company contributes to reforestation projects that help absorb carbon while creating employment and supporting local communities.

At Birch & Form, we believe that the story behind a product is just as important as the product itself. We carefully select brands that bring together thoughtful design, responsible sourcing, craftsmanship and care.
Osmology by Aery reflects this approach beautifully. Its candles are created here in the UK, using consciously chosen materials and processes, while recognising that the objects we bring into our homes should contribute positively to both our wellbeing and the wider world.
The name may have changed, but the reasons we chose to stock these candles have not. They continue to represent the quiet harmony of ethics and aesthetics that we look for in every Birch & Form collection.
