Staying Connected, One Card at a Time đź’Ś
Every year, as Christmas approaches, I find myself thinking about last posting dates. Not just in a practical have I left it too late? way, but in a sentimental one too. My family are from Luxembourg, and with loved ones scattered across borders, Christmas cards have always felt like more than just a tradition. They’re tiny messengers of love, carrying connection from one home to another.
It’s one of the reasons I’m so fond of this time of year, the quiet ritual of choosing the perfect card, taking a moment to write something meaningful, and picturing it landing on a doormat far away. There’s something beautifully unhurried about it, and it feels perfectly aligned with the gentle, thoughtful nature I feel important to apply to my life.
So which cards do I have piled up on my table waiting to be penned?
Brie Harrison's collection is printed in Brie’s Studio, a small indie brand creating greetings cards and prints that express Brie’s love for nature, pattern and colour. Each card is printed on 100% recycled card and comes with recycled envelopes, making them as kind to the planet as they are to the people you’re sending them to.
Each original illustration by Lydia Mae begins as a hand-painted gouache artwork before being transformed into beautifully printed cards, gifts and prints here in the UK using green energy and vegan-friendly inks. All products are plastic-free, printed on recyclable card with matching recyclable envelopes, and produced as sustainably as possible.

I'm lucky I have a joyful selection of cards to choose from so I literally am spoiled for choice.Â

If you’re planning to share festive cheer near or far, here are the key last posting dates to keep in mind:
Sweden – 5th December
Spain – 8th December
Luxembourg – 12th December (close to my heart ❤️)
USA – 12th December
UK First Class – 20th December
In a world that moves fast, this small act of connection feels more meaningful than ever, a pause, a moment, a little love sealed in an envelope. ✨
