Patrick Ludde Guttmann

Patrick studied painting and drawing at Morley College and continues to develop his practice at Creek Creative Studios in Faversham. Naturally drawn to landscape painting, he finds inspiration in places he’s travelled and the Kent countryside, where he now lives 

Influenced by his surroundings, Patrick explores the colours and hues found in nature—often intensifying or abstracting them to create vivid, expressive works. With a background as a hair colourist, his intuitive understanding and excitement for colour deeply inform his artistic approach.

He reflects, “The longer you look at nature, the more intense the colours become.” by his surroundings—He intensifies or abstracts them to create vivid, expressive works.

The current works are inspired by Stonebridge Allotments viewed from Flood Lane in Faversham and the landscape of Patagonia.
